description: Photographic documentation of Jerzy Bereś’s manifestation "Auction" (September 28-31, 1973), made in the PI gallery (Kraszewskiego Street 9, Kraków). The artist is girded with a towel, and has the inscription "Bereś" painted on his chest. He is kneeling on the floor and spreading a linen loincloth in front of himself, on which diagonal lines intersect. His face and torso are divided by lines that intersect in the area of ​​the navel. Next to him lies a bundle of logs, an axe, a puck. On the right side Wojciech Sztaba is sitting. The material document from the manifestation in the form of a painted loincloth and photographic documentation from the manifestation are currently in the collection of MOCAK in Kraków.
