description: Photographic documentation of Jerzy Bereś’s manifestation "Auction" (September 28-31, 1973), made in the PI gallery (Kraszewskiego Street 9, Kraków). The artist is girded with white cloth, with the inscription "Bereś" painted on his chest. He is kneeling in front of a block of wood ands painting a section of a vertical line on his loincloth. The material document from the manifestation in the form of a painted loincloth and the photographic documentation from the manifestation are currently in the collection of MOCAK in Kraków.
