description: Photographic documentation of Jerzy Bereś’s manifestation "Auction" (September 28-31, 1973), made in the PI gallery (Kraszewskiego Street 9, Kraków). The artist is girded with white cloth, with the inscription "Bereś" painted on his chest. He is kneeling on the floor and holding two pieces of a tree stump in his hands, the third one lies next to it. His face and torso are divided by a vertical and horizontal line. The material document from the manifestation in the form of a painted loincloth and the photographic documentation from the manifestation are currently in the MOCAK collection in Kraków.
