description: Photographic documentation of Maria Pinińska-Bereś’s performance "Laundry II" (8.09.1981), made in Osieki near Koszalin as part of the 19th Meetings of Artists, Scientists and Art Theoreticians: Rhythm of Time, Rhythm of Art, Rhythm of Generations (3-17.09.1981). A string stretched between four posts driven into a grassy meadow marks the place. In the space thus marked out, two metal tubs filled with water stand on the ground. The artist, in a white dress and pink apron, is kneeling over the tub and washing canvases on a washboard.
