description: Photographic documentation of Jerzy Bereś’s manifestation "Romantic Mass" (16.09.1978), made at the Krzysztofory Gallery in Krakow. The artist is wearing a white tunic, girded with a rope. The back of the tunic has the inscription "offering". He is standing next to a large tree trunk, using a mallet and an axe to chop a wooden block into small logs (view from the back). In the further part of the basement, fragments of the "altar of fulfillment" can be seen.
