description: The photo was taken during Jerzy Bereś’s solo exhibition entitled "Jerzy Bereś. Material proofs. Manifestations from 1967-92" (Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Marble Hall, Jazdów Street 2, Warsaw, 10.05-20.06.1993). Photographed by Mariusz Michalski and Barbara Wójcik. Material proof from the manifestation "Wheel-Barrows of Freedom", open-air art festival in Osieki, 10.09.1981 (in the collection of the District Museum in Koszalin). These are primitive wheelbarrows built from a forked branch, at the end of which a slice from the trunk is attached. A vertical pole with a flag is attached to the branch. Photographs documenting the action hang on the wall.
