The action was carried out as part of the exhibition Woman about Woman

Maria Pinińska-Bereś:

Dressed in white, wearing a straw hat with a flower, I approach a table on which there have been placed a glass bowl filled with egg whites and a whisk. I begin to whisk the whites, from time to time adding an instant powder that makes the foam pink and sweet. After a while, I take off my hat, spread a white cloth on the table, and put the hat in the middle. I remove the flower from the hat, hold it between my teeth to free my hands, and begin to decorate the hat with the foam. When I am finished, I pull a pink lipstick and a mirror out of the bag. I correct my makeup, and write the date and my initials on the table cloth.
