Repeating after 25 years

Commentary by Jerzy Bereś:

Before the manifestation, the National Museum initially agreed to loan the Romantic Cart, which it owns. Months of efforts to obtain permission for the performing the action ended with a refusal from the Krakow City Administration Department. Following the Mayor’s intervention, the decision was reversed. ​​A few days before the manifestation, however, the conservator expressed opposition to loaning the Cart from the museum. Only after dramatic negotiations and the fabrication of special new wheels did he finally agree to the loan.
